Your details
The short version: we keep what you give us, use it for this event only, and never sell it.
Who we are
Head House Entertainment runs this waiting list and is responsible for your data (the “data controller” under UK GDPR).
What we store
- Your name and email address
- Your phone number, if you give it
- Your party size and the ticket you’re interested in
- Whether you ticked “Email me when tickets go on sale and with event updates.”, and when
- Which of our emails we’ve sent you, and whether you’ve unsubscribed
- Which advert or link brought you here, if any (for example “Instagram”)
To stop spam we also keep a scrambled (hashed) version of your connection’s IP address for up to a day. We can’t turn it back into the address.
Why
To keep your place on the waiting list, to plan the night (how many tables, which tickets people want) and to send you one email confirming you’ve joined. If you ticked the box, we also email you before and when tickets for our 1930s Valentine's Night go on sale, with updates about the event. Our lawful basis for those updates is your consent; for the rest, it’s that you asked to join.
Who else sees it
Nobody, apart from the companies that run this site for us: Vercel (hosting), Neon (the database) and Resend (which sends our emails). They handle it on our behalf and can’t use it for anything else. We don’t sell or share your details.
How long we keep it
Until the event is over and we’ve finished arranging it. If you don’t book, we delete your details within three months of the event.
Your choices
You can change your mind at any time. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link: one click and you won’t get any more. Or email headhouseentertainment@gmail.com, or reply to any email we send you, to come off the list or to ask us to show, correct or delete what we hold. If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
